What is Radiofrequency?

Radiofrequency energy is electromagnetic energy that travels through the skin. When this electromagnetic energy finds resistance along the route, it generates heat. The amount of heat produced is determined by the current, the resistance encountered, and the technical qualities of the electrodes. Human tissue, especially the skin, is rich in electrolytes; yet, because the amount of water in different tissues varies, so does the resistance generated.
